Warranty Terms
Lintro 1-Year Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to all Lintro-branded products, excluding oil-based products, purchased directly from lintro.co.uk or authorised retailers and distributors. Lintro warrants that its branded products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship when used according to Lintro's published guidelines. Using a Lintro product, each purchaser agrees to be bound by the terms of this warranty as set out below. For any warranty issues, please contact us at [warranty@lintro.co.uk]
Coverage Exclusions
Essential oil-based products do not qualify for the 1-Year Limited Warranty.
Warranty Claims Process
To return or exchange a Lintro-branded product under this warranty, the purchaser must email Lintro's customer support team at [warranty@lintro.co.uk] before returning any product. Lintro will not reimburse purchasers for services performed by others. Unless otherwise instructed by Lintro, the product must be delivered, freight prepaid, in its original packaging or packaging providing equal protection to the address specified by Lintro.
All warranty returns must include the completed Return Authorization Form. Before receiving warranty service, Lintro may require proof of purchase details, responses to questions designed to assist with evaluating potential issues, and adherence to Lintro's procedures for obtaining warranty service.
Warranty Service Conditions
If Lintro determines that the problem with the product is not due to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, or if the product is not properly returned or otherwise does not qualify for warranty service, the purchaser will be responsible for all costs incurred to return the product. Lintro reserves the right to change the method by which warranty service is provided, and the product’s eligibility to receive a particular service method. Service options, parts availability, and response times may vary by country.
The purchaser may be responsible for shipping and handling charges if the product cannot be serviced in the country it is in. For service in a country other than the country of purchase, the purchaser must comply with all applicable import and export laws and regulations and be responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and other associated taxes and charges.
Warranty Remedies
If a valid claim is submitted during the warranty period, Lintro will, at its discretion, either (1) replace the product or (2) provide a full refund. Lintro reserves the right to replace any discontinued product with a new product of comparable value and function. A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or 30 days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer.
Limitation of Remedies
Lintro does not authorise anyone, including resellers or agents, to make any modifications, extensions, or additions to this Limited Warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
Exclusions from Coverage
This warranty covers only product issues caused by defects in material or workmanship during ordinary use. It does not cover issues caused by:
1. Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports, unless a failure occurs due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
2. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, liquids, fire, vandalism, or external forces.
3. Defects caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product.
4. Alteration of the product in any way.
5. Use inconsistent with the intended purpose or design of the product as described in the product’s usage manual or other documentation, including the attachment of unauthorised accessories.
6. Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
7. Improper use of electrical power supply, loss of power, variation in line voltage, or malfunction/damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
8. Removal or defacement of any serial number on the product.
9. Loss of use during the period the product is at the Lintro repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair or any other conditions beyond the control of Lintro.
Lintro does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. This Limited Warranty does not cover Lintro products sold as 'Manufacturer Refurbished', 'Opened Box', or similar notations and does not cover consumables. This warranty does not extend to purchasing opened, used, repaired, refurbished, repackaged, and/or resealed products, including those sold on Internet auction sites or by surplus/bulk resellers. Any software is provided “AS IS” unless expressly provided for in any enclosed software limited warranty. When a product or part is exchanged, the original item becomes Lintro's property.
